SOCIAL DANCES/PRACTICE EVENINGS

During 2007/8 a number of social dance/practice evenings will be offered at the Ballroom Blitz studio to allow students to practise the Ballroom (Waltz, Slow Foxtrot, Tango, Quickstep, and Viennese Waltz) and Latin American (Rumba, Samba, Cha Cha Cha, Paso Doble and Jive) dances in a relaxed, informal atmosphere.  There will also be a few of the more popular ‘party type’ dances such as the St Bernard’s Waltz and Barn Dance.

These evenings have been planned to run at the conclusion of each of the main adult courses.  Whilst the evenings are obviously aimed at Ballroom Blitz pupils, they are open for anyone to attend.  Children over the age of 12 who are competent dancers are also welcome to attend when accompanied by a responsible adult.

Tickets  at Kirton (Fridays) will be:
£2.50/adult or £1.25/child (in advance)
£3.00/adult or £1.50/child (on the day)

For anybody who may not be aware, the Ballroom Blitz studio at Kirton-in-Lindsey has the benefit of a specialist fully sprung  Harlequin dance floor, as well as air  conditioning.

Tickets  at Barton (Saturdays) will be:
£3.50/adult or £1.75/child (in advance)
£4.00/adult or £2.00/child (on the day)

Tea/Coffee and Biscuits will be included.
Alternatively non-alcoholic cold drinks may be purchased.
Please bring your own alcoholic refreshments (if required).
