Ballroom Blitz was first established at Barton-upon-Humber, and continues there on a Tuesday and Saturday. More recently Debbie, together with her husband Mark, was able to fulfil a lifelong ambition of owning a studio on their own premises. In September 2002, they were able to open the studio which is attached to their home in Kirton-in-Lindsey. This studio now has the benefit of a fully sprung specialist Harlequin dance floor (installed in December 2003), as well as the advantage of Air Conditioning, installed in the summer of 2005.
At Barton classes are held at the Assembly Rooms on Queen Street, with parents able to sit quietly on the balcony area to watch. At Kirton, due to the ‘studio set up’ it is not possible for parents to watch the classes, although they are more than welcome to make themselves comfortable and wait in the adjoining waiting room
